Thotti Jaya - Melodious number

Though this is quite a old movie, I heard this song recently in the radio, loved it a lot and has become one of my favorites. There are many melodious songs given by Harris Jayaraj among which this tops the list .

The song starts of with a soothing humming.The male voice by Karthik is very intense and too good. The female voices are alternatively sung by Anuradha Sriram and Bombay Jaishree, whose voices are very apt in naturally expressing a confused state of Gopika's feelings of sadness, love and happiness.

The four lines of Bombay Jaishree " Engeyo unmugam naan partha nyabagam, Eppodho unnudan naan valndha nyabagam" is also very refreshing.The four line section by Karthik (Nijandhaane Keladi...) that ends every part of the song is great and guaranteed to get you humming.
